Project Introduction
The story of forming this little house started from a cheese craving.
After dividing the space evenly into a 3x3x3 cube, I "carved" the holes and caverns on the "cheese" following the grid in order to create the gray spaces and balconies. And I applied the same language to interior space and provided the interior space more sense of volume like the inside of a limestone cave, by opening up the spaces and rounding the corners. And the process of designing is more like making a sculpture, not a building.
For materials, I used ash wood and stone painting for exterior facade to create the mild and "creamy" texture. The tone of interior is white and light wood.
